Skipped a few days…
Portland shopping spree.
This is the cover of today’s newspaper.
The $ is at an all-time low. Which is good, ’cause I need to buy clothes (which I never do here in Belgium).
And an iPhone maybe. And cycling gear. And…
Anyway, anyone know of a store in Portland that sells army/navy/timeless stuff, like plain T-shirts, Levi’s 501, thermal hoodies, etc? I shopped at Daves Army and Navy store in NY over 10 years ago and have barely had to buy clothes since.
I need to stock up for another 10 years.

More Portland/Sticker /No-sticker/No-nuttin stuff.
Erin, who did the great entry with the hands, has written a 5-page guide to Portland, which can be seen, downloaded and studied by heart here.
Stale Cheetoes did the image hereunder which made me laugh, and can be downloaded from her page.

So why the 20 slides?
Got an email outlining the the weekend program yesterday.
On friday we’ll get to present our entries to the other participants, sort of like a Pecha Kucha night.
So that’s why they asked for 20 slides. Each presentation will be 20 seconds per slide X 20: The Pecha Kucha format.
I’ve been to a Pecha Kucha night here in Brussels. It was fun (being on the spectator side of the whole thing was anyway).
Update : I just retrieved 2 comments out of spam, I didn’t realize up ’till now this was something I had to do regularly. Sorry about that, I will try to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
More good is coming from this.
Some people who got “the sticker” and not “the ticket” are turning this into a positive thing and are creating a “a web-based creative collective hot-shop for advertising and branding services.”
The movement started in the comments of the original Seeking entry on the W+K blog, and now moved here: A kind world.
Join! I did.
